I was born and brought up in Harlow, Essex and my family are from North London. I wasn’t aware of my intuitive abilities as a child, yes I had the normal imaginary friend as I was an only child for 5 years. I got interested in the spiritual world in my teens through my Mum who went to local spiritual centres and watched demonstrations, she went to see Doris Stokes at The London Palladium.

Why I didn’t get invited I don’t know!

During my teens I went to many demonstrations and had 121 readings, I became friends with a girl Anne whose parents were mediums and took us to various events.

I then married and had 2 children, however I did continue my interest during these years by attending mediumship events.

My husband sadly passed away in 2006 so I started going to a spiritual school, it was there that I discovered I had an intuitive gift and was invited into a local development group.

Over the past 12 years I have studied with TJ Higgs and Tony Stockwell who now does demonstrations for me as I am the President of Hoddeston Spiritualist Group.

In 2014 I opened my own wellbeing centre, ‘Wings of Light’ which includes spiritual work including mediumship demonstrations, 121 readings and development groups.

I do what I do because I like to help other people. That sounds such a cliché doesn’t it! However I get so much satisfaction from being able to empower others on their journey. It pulls on my own life experiences and makes me feel more confidence in myself. My spiritual journey has helped bring me out of myself by helping others. There was a time where I could never do public speaking, now I get enjoyment from it and you can't shut me up!

Everything is energy. I work with the energy of the spirit world, the energy of people, the energy of life.

We are all surrounded by energy fields which are called an aura, by connecting my aura to another persons aura I am able to pick up life’s experiences and events, emotions and feelings of that person and offer intuitive guidance to empower them to move forward.

This works in exactly the same way, however the person is in spirit, so I pick up their energy on a higher level, connect with them and provide messages to their loved ones here on earth
